Hey ya'll!  Back again and with so much spackle in my mouth it feels like a really bad episode of Fixer Upper.  You know, where Chip gets into the bondo and decides, all Mr. Bean style, he's going to toss a stick of dynamite into the bucket and fix all the holes!  *KABLOOIE*

Spackle, yum (not). I’m chilling out at work, working from a secondary office (not my usual office building) helping out in the next county over. They need assistance with files/filing, as they haven’t had a permanent administrative assistant for a while. Huzzah.

Today's my first day back on ADHD meds in three years and it's going pretty well - I managed to knock out about half my Idol entry despite having no idea where I was going with it when I sat down. It's another "cute modern fantasy" story and I'm excited to see how it wraps up!

Yay for ADHD meds! I'm on Vyvanse and it's hell when I'm off of it.

Thanks for the update and info. Closest we can most probably get to in-the-know opining. I don't, actually, believe that using LJ is a moral/ethical issue. In the same way that I don't believe punishing the Russian people should be a long-term solution to Putin's insanity. LJ might be dispensing some propaganda, but it's pretty nominal when held up to serious spin-doctoring sites and outlets. I'm also all about Community and currently, we have a semblance of that here, moreso in the Idol comm.

Admittedly, however, I was all gung-ho for my modern dress Persephone/Hades prompt response....until two days ago. It's difficult to muster a sense of Fantasy in the midst of so much Reality. Thoughts?

Yes!!! Welcome to my 'verse, girl! I've written tens of thousands of words in my modern dress P/H for Idol! I will def write now, knowing you'd read the Hades out of it. LOL!
