i decided my hair could wait. this, however, not so much
ah-ma-zing
and my theory just keeps getting stronger!
and i agree on the absolute stunnung-ness (which is so totally a word) of "grace" (tho i havent actually finished it yet because i had so much to do in the past few days) but i feel like i should let you know that if you never wrote again it would definitely be a loss.

and thank you very much. as much as i would like to disagree actively with you, i won't. being appreciated at any level is definitely nice, i just don't think i'll ever write anything as powerful as that story.

and i keep thinking that - i should be inspired to run out and make something amazing. however, i've never had much in the way of self-confidence, especially not when it comes to my writing. in the long run, i'm not going to stop. i don't think i could. just for now, i feel a little...inadequate. i guess we all do sometimes. *shrug*
oh...and there is always hope for words. even mine, i guess. heh.

I hope you won't stop writing just because you feel discouraged by reading another's work whom you may think is better than yours. I've gone through that a lot, thinking I'll never write as good as someone whom I particularly find amazing, but then I stop and realize that you can't try to write better than someone else, you can only try to write better than yourself. Each writer's voice is different and unique (yours included!) and just think of how boring it would be if everyone wrote in the same style. Bleh.
It took a long time for my self-confidence as a writer to truly emerge and I really hope that you find yours because I believe you're a terrific writer who truly entertains and I'll stop being so mushy now. But I know how you feel.

i don't think i'm going to stop. i don't think i could. and you are right - we all write differently, we all are individual and certainly beautiful in our own ways, and that applies to life in general, not just writing.
my self-confidence as much of anything is still hiding, unfortunately. hopefully i find it some day. that would be nice.
thank you - it's good to know that i'm not the only one who sometimes throws her hands in the air and says fuck it.

But you've got to keep writing. Seriously. I love your style, I geek out when I see that you've updated with something, and I know before reading it that I'm going to love it. After all - no one writes Brendon/Ryan kink quite like you do. ;)

i'm sure i will. i mean, even more than i don't know how to write like that, i don't know how to stop writing.

You can't stop writing. You're writing is pretty much the reason I lurk discoattheslash. And I've read a lot of your stories and you're too amazing to stop. Please don't. *pouts* No one can resist the pout.
