Here I am, back home and feeling less icky than I did at a similar point during the last treatment. For now my short term goals are to wear off the last of the side effects and to prepare for the coming holiday. Not much else to say here. I was way too out of it this time to call anyone. Maybe next time.

I go back to Riverside tommorow, and start treatment again monday. If it can be said that there is one upside to this new treatment, it is that it wears off quickly. My oncologist called just now and told me that the treatment did not work. The CT scan I just took showed that I have new spots in my spleen and in my liver, as well as a few lymphnodes somewhere in my chest area. The spots in my lungs are still there, but have not grown. So now they plan to put me on a different treatment starting November 29th. ( Read more... )

I officially survived my time at riverside this time without any vikings appearing to trouble me. I did get a visit from Jo and Drew, which was nice.
