Well, the CT scan and Pet Scan show that the last treatment did not work. There were a couple of new legions, one that grew slightly bigger, and even one that disapeared completely. But the net effect is that it didn't work. So now I have to go on some sort of experimental drug. My oncologists have not figured out yet which one to put me on yet ( ( Read more... )

My passport problems are resolved, and I'm leaving tommorow night. I'll be sure to get plenty of pictures. I get back on the 7th, but then the next day I go back down to Riverside for more treatment (assuming that the last treatment worked. I might not find out until after I come back). I just got off the phone with the national passport office. I applied for a passport in early December and it hasn't gotten here yet. According to them, they sent it off in mid Deceber and I should have gotten it a month ago. So now they have sent an Urgent message to reissue it. Saw myself a little movie you might have heard of called Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. The first thing to note is that it is a very pretty movie. Parts of it were as Tim Burton-esque as you can get without actually having Tim Burton direct your movie.
