I thought I'd just mention that over the last few weeks I've become hopelessly addicted to Wikipedia. It's an online encyclopedia that can be editted by anyone. It's wonderful. Saw my Oncologist today and he's putting me back on chemotherapy. This time, I get to take it in pill form. The drugs I will be taking are Temador and Tholidomide. I'm going to start taking the first pill tonight before I go to bed. Just got back from the radiation surgery. It went pretty well, or at least they didn't screw up royally. I don't have any numbness or dizzyness anywhere, and I still remember things like the capital of Idaho. Saw my friendly neighborhood Stanford radiologist today. The gave me yet another CT scan of my head, and made a plastic mask that perfectly fits my face. I'm not exactly clear on why they need that for the operation. But on the bright side, I can keep it afterwards! The operation itself will be tommorow at 12:30.

Saw the Chinese new years parade in San Francisco. It was fairly large, and I saw both Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of San Francisco. I was half expecting to see Arnie there too, but no. The MRI I took today found two small lesions in my brain. This invalidates me for the USC and Maryland studies, so now I have to go to Stanford to have a "cyber-knife" operation. It involves using radiation to remove the legions ( Read more... )

My stupid doctors still haven't gotten back to me about my next treatment options. I think they are busy trying to navigate all the red tape involved with transfering me to a new group of doctors. I did find out that I've been scheduled for an MRI of my head next week. If I don't hear anything from them by tommorow I'll give them a call ( Read more... )
