OK, it was me...sorry everyone. I made it rain. I took my umbrella out of my handbag this morning and left it at home, and then I sent my friend an email saying we could sit out in the garden to eat dinner.

Things are crazy here - it's a torrential downpour. The power is cutting out.

My mum and dad have just got two new kittens - I'm going to see them on Sunday and I'm so excited. They're a week apart in age, and they come from different litters on the same farm. The new guy who just joined our team last week has just sent me a link to a site called 'office guns', which demonstrates how to construct powerful weapons out of common items of office stationery. Poor bastard - driven to violent thoughts after only four days in this place.

I was really saddened to find out about the riots at Download festival. We didn't know anything about them while we were there - when we were sitting in our campsite on the Sunday night we saw a big glow on the horizon and a load of smoke, but we just thought 'Someone's got a good campfire going'. We found out when we got to the venue last night that the gig was cancelled....because the promoter was in jail for attempted rape. The scary thing is that we got the gig because the promoter approached me in a pub when I was alone waiting for someone and offered it to me after semi chatting me up. Horrible ( Read more... )

Broken record #1 - Work sucks. Seriously. Everyone here is so selfish and obnoxious and rude, it's getting harder and harder to not to poke them in the eye with my pen. Someone give me a new job! Please! The agency calls have really dried up, think it must be moving into a bad time of year for job hunting. I just feel so helpless...I'm trying hard ( Read more... )
