just taking pictures doesnt make you a good photographer.

digital cameras have ruined the worth of taking a good picture.

yeah so if you're trying to hint to all of us hills kids who are in photography club, we never said we were like amazing and professional but we like it and we have fun doing it so that's all that matters. you should try not to be so opinionated all the time.

im not speaking directly to you. i just dont like how photography has been degraded to just taking pictures.

and there is a difference.

and i do recognize that it is just having fun, but i just feel like it cheapens the artform when people disregard the difference.

yeah i get it. but there honestly are a lot of good photographers, it's crazy. not just kids taking picturesof themselves or their friends but like, actual art.

this entry does come of as pretentious, but i know what you're saying. people buy these digital cameras and take pictures of blurry light and think they're skilled when they really arent. but digitals are just convienent and you can use effects and stuff. it's true that photography seems like a fad now, but hopefully it will pass just like every other fad.

i have a digital and i like it, but i definatly wish i had a film slr. no doubt digitals dont have the same quality as film.
