there is nothing worse than ordering a beef enchilada, biting into it.. and tasting chicken. ::shudder:: i'm very picky when it comes to eating chicken. i certainly will not eat chicken from a fast food restaurant, chinese restaurant, mexican restaurant.. no, ANY RESTAURANT FOR THAT MATTER.. except beauregard's hot chicken wings.. that's it

mmmm BRATWURST! I have some good brats in the fridge. maybe I'll make them later in the afternoon.

Once I ate bugs on purpose! It was Halloween and my friend was friends with this Thai lady who owned a Thai restaurant. We went to her place and she was like ooo guys I have just the thing for you to try: THAI SILKWORM SALAD! It was basically a shredded papaya salad, very spicy. The silkworms in it were in the pupal phase so they didn't have any legs wings etc but you could still tell they were fat brown BUGS. No they were not alive. They tasted kind of nutty. I ate a whole lot of them and didn't feel queasy at all except for a little bit right after I finished eating.

The whole nutty tasting bug thing gets me paranoid now whenever I eat nuts in the dark.
