We had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Dane and Kathryn's wedding, beginning on Thursday night with their rehearsal at the Oregon Golf Club and then a celebratory dinner at Andina. We go there any chance we get and so we were thrilled when we found out that we'd be photographing an event there. Baby M -
We photographed Baby M the other night at home. He was ten days old but already beginning to emerge from the newborn fog. It's amazing how fast that happens. It meant that we were able to get some awake shots, but also that he didn't want to be curled up for the life of him. And that little boy has some strong legs, so there was no coaxing. We joined Naomi and Chris at the beach last weekend for their lovely and very intimate wedding-- including them, there were 11 attendees! But it was just what they wanted. Aimee and BJ's Wedding -
We photographed Aimee and BJ's wedding this last weekend and it was such a lovely affair. Their theme was green, and it was more than just a color statement. The event was held at McIver Park, to reduce the resources used, and every effort was made to have the wedding be as sustainable and simple as possible. MacKenzie is our rep from the local art school; we did her mini-session this spring but this was our chance to do a full-blown session with her. She loves the water and waterfront, and so we spent some time with the bridges, walking along through Waterfront Park, and then explored some of the architecture around the old Skidmore district. We did a session last week with Charlotte and oh, my, was she fun to work with! She's one of the most honest and natural people that I've ever met, a total sweetheart, and really funny to boot.
