it's not just the power of the human mind... it's also the fact that *everyone* misspells things online nowadays, with aim and what not.

Its not that we can't read your mispelled words, is that mispelling things automatically makes you look stupid. And I don't entirely agree - this may work for getting the point across, but there are some words that are very similar but change a letter or two in the middle and they mean something completely different. Communication is hard enough as it is, why make it more difficult and leave room for misunderstanding if you don't have to?
