On Monday I went to an allergist, finally, to deal with my seasonal allergies. It was a three-hour appointment including the full-scale skin test for environmental allergens (no foods, I haven't had any problems with those ( Read more... )

Great shot of the kitty doing what they love to do.

Re mold...cleaning with white vinegar is helpful...bathroom etc...bleach works but bleach fumes are not so good to breathe.

love you and keep us posted if you decide to do treatment. And DO NOT start any treatment teh day of the GRE....

Yep, I've already become a much better cleaner. It's helping! Hooray for my Oreck vacuum, love that thing. :-)

Yeah, that's a strange test to go through, isn't it? It does provide good information though. I'm another one of those who went through it also. I'm also allergic to cats and dogs, although it rarely poses a big problem. SOmetimes I notice it. I'm on a regular regimen (I use a nasal steroid spray daily which helps me for the various allergies I have). Once in awhile I take a Benadryl if things are really out of hand.

I see your mom's comment...you're taking the GRE? Good luck with that, whenever it is. ((((Shauna)))))

Love, Erin

Hey! Yep, GRE is happening sometime this month, since the test is changing on August 1 and I want to be sure I get in while it's still set up the way I'm familiar with. Thanks for the good wishes! <3

That's a big test, and I'm sure it's not exactly fun to take it (!) but it sounds really clever to take it before the changes. (((((Shauna)))))) sending lots of hugs and good wishes for you!

Love and hugs,
Erin

Matt has been in immunotherapy for about a year and a half now, and it made a HUGE difference in his hayfever this year. Good luck!
