Mmmm, wine that tastes of kerosene soaked raisins. (In a good way).

And to elaborate on the silly stories of yesterday: One was about the imprudence of trying to prune trees from a ladder at 10pm in May. The other related to the vet-recommended method of cleaning a cat when it comes home covered in engine oil - hot soapy bath.

This appears to have been the week for Implausible Incidents. Involving (in no particular order, and not limited to) bumblebees, cats, ladders and oil.

Short version: Some amusing stories at work today.

Managed to roll over in bed last night and discover a bumblebee with my upper arm...

Also, ivy is not my favourite word either.

Caterpillar is a dirty word.

We're having a Sunday luncheon here this weekend (18th) in celebration of our wedding the previous day. Doors open around 10.30, we'll turn up eventually (parents will be around earlier).

I fail to understand why people like hot weather. And I really don't understand people who think that hot weather is supposed to make me happy. I'm pretty sure I'm not normally terribly misleading on that front...

It appears to be plague time again.

I'm suspecting a visit to the doctor may occur tomorrow, got a funny feeling I might be wise to try and obtain drugs. (Not great timing. Sigh).
