I was just refused entry into the Royal Ottawa Hospital's Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders Program because I don't want to join Alcoholics Anonymous due to their religious bent. So. Bloody. Tired.

I biked forty kilometers today and saw deer, fuzzbutts (baby geese), groundhogs, tiny bun-buns, and even a raccoon. Also, COFFEE!!! And hundred twenty five year old black jet shoe buttons drying in a tea towel look a lot like dead beetles.

I put Phooka's food and litter outside the patio door and parked next to it on some blankets with a book and it paid off. Phooka returned as of ten minutes ago with some burrs but otherwise unscathed. He's wolfing food down as we speak. Yay!

My cat is nowhere to be found. I think he may have gotten out Thursday night. He is an indoor kitty.

Just so y'all know I will be in Toronto this weekend with my sweetie. I am leaving this evening around dinner and will be back Monday evening. Ciao!
