I LOVE how much detail is in this story, it's absolutely DELICIOUS (and painful!). And the images of Sherlock are stunning, and his observations of John were delightful. I couldn't stop myself assuming that the 'Brother' is actually Harry, but given the time period, maybe Harry was a guy this time. Poor John :( guy needs some tender lovin' care, thank goodness Sherlock is actually bordering on compassionate for once.

Well, you know Sherlock doesn't get everything right ;D So yeah, she'll be a girl. Except, um, dead :( And Sherlock may need some tender lovin' right back... :P

Glad you're enjoying the fill! Wish I could write faster though :3

Oh God, I am so sorry :( Chapter Three is up, but I completely understand if you've lost interest! Some explanation in the a/n and other posts, though not a complete one, and not really a justification.

Brought me back to my days in latin Class. Love the title and the concept even though I was not a fan of the Aneid though Virgil was an amazing poet. Can't wait to see more of this world.

At first I thought this is ridiculous but I find I like it in the extreme.
I like your writing style and somehow it works.
Please continue.
Thank you and goodbye!

Haha! It probably is a bit ridiculous and yet I enjoy the idea too much to let it go :P
I'm glad it was good enough to make you change your mind!

(Also Sherlock will be wearing a toga soon enough, and if John doesn't jump him I will...)

I love the Georgics too! Just can't stand how the Aneid ended, but really the world you have created is awesome!

Ooh, why don't you like the ending of the Aeneid? :(

And thank you - and sorry this response is so horrifically late D:

Because it was OCC for Aneas. What he did was ignoble and made no sense whatsoever. I am going with the theory that Virgil died before finishing it.

I never really saw Aeneas as noble - I thought he was a bit of an idiot from the moment he ditched his wife in Troy! Not to mention the Dido fiasco... But I agree that the ending was strange. And yeah, that's a very valid theory - I think I might die before I finish this too ;)
