[There's a small clatter as the journal is pushed away--and pushed on. All it picks up at first is the sound of heavy breathing, like someone catching their breath--or trying not to cry, perhaps. Recovering.

It doesn't get better, but changes to sound more like someone trying to breathe through pain, rather than fear.]
