She was meowing because she was hungry, because there is no cat food! When I left this morning she was all OH MY GOD FEED ME I WILL NUZZLE YOU TILL YOU DO and I was all OH MY GOD I'M SORRY I HAVE WORK :( Get some cat food before she meets the dog today!

I totally wanna come to Vassar to see the trees! I didn't get to see enough in Tokyo last week. Have you been to the sakura matsuri at BBG before? I went last year and thought it was horrid.

I haven't been to the Sakura Matsuri. My idea is to go check out the bloom either before or after the official festival, so as to avoid the huge crowds.

There's an interactive map, updated daily, of the stage of bloom of each tree in the Esplanade.

Good plan. The crowd was horrible and messy and rowdy. I didn't like it also cause the cherries are the dark pink kind with the reddish bark, which are the kind i don't like. So i was disappointed. But the map is brilliant! I wish all the parks in Japan had those.

They better not give alums a hard time about visiting the campus... after all, alums pay for an awful freakin' lot of it!

I too want to visit the Alma Mater... those are some nice trees.
