Yeah!!!!!!!! I have been given word that my contract is being extended. Unsure for how long at this moment but I am ecstatic.

Week 1 done and 3 to go!
Well, I made it through the 1st week of my orientation as a new Paramedic. What a blast so far. I rec'd so many uniform items it felt like Christmas, I had 2 black garbage bags full when they were finished handing it out. Hired!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah! I got the job! I am now one of this city's newest paramedics. Finally after all that schooling and waiting on "the list" I made it. I can't wait to start and am looking forward to being out there where I can really do some good. -

This has been an amazing weekend. On Friday my wife and I went to a friends farm party and saw and met many people. Stayed up until 7 am partying. woo hoo I haven't done that since I was younger. lol ( Read more... ) -

Oh boy, it has been a while since I have had a cold like this and tomorrow I have the next step of my job interview. Will be trying to get a good sleep as it is all lifting (stretchers) tomorrow.
