so, the bloody iphone craze has taken me over...i wrote two apps that finally got published today, after Apple sat on my contract for a good while (but I have no complaints...it's only reasonable). It's an uncomfortable period. I finally quit the job that I vowed to quit the week I entered it....only after two and a half years had passed. Learnt today that I also made it to Columbia. Nice. They are supposedly one of the best schools in theory.

Learnt earlier today that I got accepted to Courant for the second time, this once as a Comp Sci grad student. I applied to three other schools that didn't start the review process yet (Utexas @ Austin, Columbia and UNC Chapel Hill), so NYU is the first one I heard from. it feels strange. more than three years of a relationship, and i think i ended it for good. just walked out, without being noticed. still not noticed that i'm missing. couldn't take it anymore.

Not being politically inclined, I didn't know what exactly was the noise disturbing the class was emanating from...the instructor, one Mr. Royfman, remarked that it sounds a lot like Munich '33.
