Today in Tech Support: It's "Barely Speaking English" Day!

Three calls in a row, where the caller spoke broken, speed English and was computer illiterate. Joy.

We're amazingly slammed at work right now. So much so, that I've closed the window that shows me how many calls are waiting (at the moment, I'm waiting for a customer to reboot), because it's depressing me.

T minus one hour to go and counting... Then it's home to veg on the couch and let my brain turn to mush.

Spring is here at last. It's actually raining, instead of snowing. Hopefully we'll have a nice mellow day at work, but I know better. It's Friday and raining out, just when everyone wants to be online. We're slow right now, but it won't last.

I have a low-grade migraine that's into its fifth day. The first Trojans are showing their faces for Mac. I'm still not worried, however. What the alert fails to mention is that even if you click on such a file, OS X will not let you install any application without first authenticating with an admin password.
