I've discovered that Peeps have a limited lifespan. If you don't eat all five of the little suckers right away, they go into an unappetizing rigor mortis. Jackhammers couldn't crack these things. I guess Peeps are for sharing, if you don't want to gorge yourself on 'em.

Looks like it's going to be another one of those days. We're getting hammered at work, and several people are either sick or on vacation. So the phones just don't stop. This is unusual in our tech support... On a "good" day, I'll go 20 minutes at a time without a call. Gives me brain plenty of time to decompress from the last call. Days like this ( Read more... )

I finally got a permanent desk at work, and have now staked my claim there with photos and what not. Something odd though: When I left last night, I had a nice 19" Dell monitor, to go with my black CPU, keyboard and mouse. When I got here this morning, my Dell monitor was gone, to be replaced by a much smaller, ancient Compaq monitor that's giving ( Read more... )

I'm starting to get a little disturbed. See, I've been having a recurring dream for the past few months. Actually, it's just a recurring image. The weather is finally improving, after a huge amount of snow this winter. It's going to be messy, no doubt about that. However, the roads are nice and dry these days, and I'm happy to return to my usual speeding ways.
