It was for this very reason we chose not to turn on the television or radio on Saturday. We made it a day to celebrate life by attending a film festival with an Ocean theme and walking around downtown Savannah and enjoying eachother's company. Of course we'll "never forget," we don't need to be fed constant reminders by the media of the pain that we've already experienced.

Thank you for posting this. As I walked through BWI and ATL airports this morning, and saw all the reminders of that day three years ago--the endless security lines and the soldiers dressed in desert khaki--I wish I had read this before leaving.
