It was a beautiful day and, even with the morning's...issues...it was Halloween and there weren't Daleks and Cybermen and vampires and Adria. That, alone, was enough cause to celebrate, so he convinced Owen to come with him and they both headed down to the waterfall for a little rest and relaxation.

And that was all. Really.

Owen had been dead set on staying in and out of trouble after the morning's...interruption, but Daniel wanted to go to the waterfall, so to the waterfall they went, Owen in a pair of boardshorts with a towel draped over his shoulder as he followed in flip flops and tried not to be grumpy because he was tired.

This day was amazing. And Bart was dead set on taking advantage of every second of being a kid, since he hadn't gotten to when he last looked this age. There were so many ways to have fun on the island, even if Timmy was being a spoilsport about it. He'd just go swimming without him.

Which was why he was racing as fast as his little legs would carry him to the top of the waterfall, with every intention of jumping off. The pool was deep enough, after all.

"GeroniMOOO!" he cried out as he dodge around the grownups on the path.

For a minute, Daniel thought he knew that redheaded form. Could have sworn it was someone he knew, but he had a grumpy boyfriend to see to, first.

"Hey, we can kill Vala when she's not, like, ten, and Mitchell won't wring my neck for contemplating it." He wrapped an arm around Owen's waist. "How bad can it really be, right?" Of course, he realized after the fact that he probably shouldn't have said that.

"I'm sorry, but did we just nearly get run over by some kid?" Owen said, ignoring completely what Daniel was saying about killing Vala and maybe feeding her corpse to some hungry raptors. Or maybe it was just Owen thinking that.
