i do recall a few years ago a journalist writing in the Age about Cappuccino Suburbs- the likes of Fitzroy, South Yarra, Carlton etc. Where the very wealthy quaff Shiraz and wank over Wordsworth while the extremely poor beg for a few dollars out and around the Council Flats. the socio-economic disparity is very significant ( ... )

also if it helps:
a) there are no evil people in this world. only people made insane by desperation, poverty or environment. unfortunately insane stuff happens all the time.. but also beautiful stuff to counterbalance it..
b) i will be in the UK in just over a month! oh man i'm petrified. but excited! :)
