I'm the same way. The only things in which I apply any sort of effort are the things which, in the big picture, don't matter (i.e. I practice my bass WAY more then I practice my trumpet, I spend more time writing webcomics then doing homework, I would rather read a novel instead of my reading for class).

On an unrelated note - here's my plan. When my school ends in May, I am going to drive up to see you. Then you and I will roadtrip to Laramie to see our little brothers graduate. It should be fun.
