While I'm fairly in love with this story, I must say that I'm like head over heels for this chapter.

Just the basic need and want of it. They're need to be close to each other and to touch each other all the time. Cas knows why, but Dean's somewhat oblivious, but that doesn't keep him from touching or not being there for Cas. The flow to it is quite beautiful. And I absolutely adore the fact that Castiel had to tell Dean about what happened to him and even though Dean didn't want to hear it because something like that would be hard to hear, he does. That whole scene was beautiful and I had to reread it multiple times to absorb everything. I'm also very pleased that Cas can't jump into a sexual relationship with Dean. I'm sort of a sucker for that whether it be because of his angelness or because of general whump. And it's so perfectly Dean that he understands and would never hold that against him. I look forward to more cuddle times.

Simply put, this chapter was utterly amazing.

There will be more cuddletiemz, don't fret! Much like you, I just can't see Cas jumping into a sexual relationship with Dean right now. There's obviously a latent desire for that, but it's not what he truly needs right now. And of course Dean's going to oblige him however he can, because that's just how he rolls.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAH. This was so beautiful and lyrical I almost got dizzy from it in places, and yet still so utterly heartbreaking. WAH, they make me into mush! Wonderful, aching writing as always, m'dear - awesome stuff. I'll be waiting here on the edge of my seat for more. SOON, YES?

Wow. So incredibly hot. I like how you slowly built their relationship up, there is an inevitability to it. I have a total shower kink so that was awesome, and definitely left me wanting more. Looking forward to more chapters!

*is speechless* That was so utterly perfect. I love how Dean could just read Cas at the beginning, even without words - hell even without expressions he just knew. And Cas letting Dean take him out but clinging on and Dean letting him, holding hands even - even in front of Sam and Bobby <3 And of course the shower scene, and Dean's realization that he needs Cas as much as Cas needs him and that they are so similar. I also loved how Dean was willing to listen to everything Cas went through, even though it was painful. And omg hot shower scene! \o/ That was just beautifully done. Yes yay! kissssing! and touching <3333 and the ouchy ending when Dean finally figures it out. Especially this line "because something so terrible should never happen to someone so good. Not that. Not to him. Not to Castiel." That just got me. Because Cas is soooo good and he's been through so much *hugs him* And the last line makes me feel so bad for Cas - don't leave him all alone Deannnnnn! This was just sweet and angsty and sad and perfect. Ahhhh this ( ... )

They really are alike, when you think about it. They've got a hell of a lot more in common than they realize, I think - even in canon, which is one of the reasons I ship them so hard. ;)
