I must admit though, I have some conflicted feelings about Cas ending up mostly human - on the one hand, yay, he's mortal, and that removes something of an obstacle from him being with Dean, but on the other hand he's lost a lot of what he was, and that has to hurt, even if what he becomes from this point is better - and arguably it is.

Yes, human!Cas kind of makes me sad in a way, but for all intents and purposes it's probably better, provided he doesn't end up a drugged-out weirdo (which doesn't happen now, because Luci's dead and that whole 5x04 thing never happened...uh, actually according to this fic, nothing in s5 happened at all, but. Pffft.) He's off the Archangels' radar now, so he's no longer hunted. And he's got both Sam&Dean to take care of him and ease him into humanity without that whole Apocalypse thing standing in the way, so yay! Everybody wins. :D

Though I do still love bamfy angel!Cas more. Can't have everything I guess, hm?

I find myself without sufficient vocabulary to describe this story. I could start with amazing, and move onto incredible, or fantastic, or unbelievable. And it wouldn't start to describe how utterly good it was.

I found everything to be perfect--I enjoyed the plot immensely, the characterization was fabulous, and I was riveted from the beginning. I'd start at the top of the page, excited, and all of a sudden everything would shut down. I'd almost be out of my body, because I was totally immersed in the story. I'd come out of it at the end of a chapter, but I'd always be waiting for the next one. Now that it's over, it's like I'm back completely, and I still can't shake the feeling that what I'm saying in this little comment of mine isn't nearly clear enough to describe what I'm feeling.

You're a truly talented writer, and you put me in states of shock, panic, despair, and hope without a hitch. Now that it's done, I am entirely satisfied. It ended on a perfect, peaceful note after all the chaos, and it's a totally complete story.
