Glad Charley didn't make too much of a nuisance of himself where you are. He's about to get to our part of the world, thankfully not much more than a big, wet rainstorm.
Hope the recovery is quick and things get back to normal soon. After all, I'll be blowing into town in a couple of weeks myself!
Check the reports before you get here; there seems to be another terrible storm in our path. Probability points to odds that it won't hit us, but *shrug*.
Anyways, hope that we can settle in for some coffee when you're here next.
Thank you! I really am quite lucky, compared to all of the other damager around time. And having the opportunity to stay over at John's parents who have electricity. Missing my own things is a luxury, I know that they are there. Some people no longer have homes.
Thank you. For as destructive as the hurricane was, it was equally as stunning and beautiful. It's (un)fortunate that Nature usually works in that way.

I hope your power comes back on sooner than expected and that all your loved ones are safe.
We have had non-stop rain, grey skies, and cool temps for three days now. It's lovely!
