'- Literature: as Mr B frighteningly points out to me (drawing I suppose a backhandedly complimentary contrast to Economics, ha ha, which as we all know is not exactly the light of my academic life) I possibly don't even need to study for Lit, just go in and take the paper '

WHY FIX WHAT AIN'T BROKE? YOUR HAIR IS LOVELY! but pics pls

I thought We Need to Talk About Kevin was terrific! I half-wish someone had warned me about the ending though. aha I ask YOU, did it make you think of The Handmaid's Tale at all? I kept thinking, ... Eva > Offred. And I really enjoyed it - such a sharp book. I am still reading Sexing the Cherry, on your recommendation! (So far, I am liking the Dog Woman. Also the fruit.)

KAREN! I HOPE YOUR TRIP TO LANGKAWI WAS REFRESHING AND FUN! UMM. SINGAPORE WAS SUNNY. VERY SUNNY TOO. (NOTE MY ICON)

Anyway, Sufjan Stevens has a new song! It's a ROCK SONG, off key guitar riffs and slang talk included! It is so unlike his usual work I could cry. Not really, actually. It's pretty good.

I am so reluctant to start on Privilege Of The Sword because you say it is very sad! Also, have you read The Thirteenth Tale? It's a wonderful book!
