i just recovered from the worst bout of the flu ever so i personally know it's pretty brutal. apparently some med worker in australia died from it so yeah you're legitimately sick haha i don't know if that's a good thing.

i gathered that from my mum's mass "be warned of this flu!!" email and she is admittedly prone to huge amounts of exaggeration so i could be wrong... but this and this seem to back it up
