Tonight the wifey is visiting friends and I am going to try to Clean The Apartment. This isn’t so much a hygienic procedure as an archaeological expedition. Not only do we have the stacks and boxes of stuff in the way that we haven’t sorted in years, but we have clothes thrown everywhere and we have the piles and boxes from the emptied storage unit

It sounds like you live in a smaller version of our home situation right now. Our plan of attack is wake up Saturday morning and make a Kamikaze Dive into the largest piles we can find. That would be laundry and dishes. Although, I have made some slow headway on the dishes front. Deanna helped with those and we now have enough space to make sandwiches on the counter.

and, how did you cross a line with your last post? i think that was a very rationally outraged post you made...
i heard the news story very shortly after it happened, and remember thinking that the only good that seems to have come of it was that the hospital *finally* was under investigation by the state since this was the most well-publicised of the completely outlandish shenanigans they have pulled over a few years....
and that maybe that will prompt the ambulance services to re-think their position that if you are *already at a hospital* it doesn't mean that you might not need to *go to another, more COMPETENT* one....
