*sniffle* You make me feel so damn much for these people!

The two of them needed comfort like they needed air to breathe.
Ahh so true.

Ellen looked into her eyes and saw a familiar fear.

You're vulnerable too. You don't ever admit it, but you are.

"So will Bill," Ellen said.

For you. For all of us.
Such a perfect turn around from their first conversation about the occupation.

she wasn't nearly as beautiful as she wanted to be for him. She felt dirty, used, but gods if it wasn't all worth it. Looking at him now, the adoration she felt...
Aww Ellen *huggles*

I wanna touch you," he said, his voice hoarse against her jaw. His mouth traveled to her neck. "Everywhere, all night, and I don't want to stop. I don't want to stop ever again."

She pressed closer to him so he wouldn't see her tears.

"Hold me," she whispered. "Don't let go."
*sniffle* So much love <3 ( ... )

Also Im unaware of where you are going to end this story, and I really hope you cover when they take Laura, I think you would tell the story sooo well.

... I hope it lives up to expectations. lol.

*HUGS* Thank you for all of this wonderful, amazing feedback. Really... it means more to me than you probably know to have this kind of commentary on this story.

I think I realized how much Saul and Ellen really love each other through writing this, so I'm happy you feel it too. They really do love each other very deeply.

I feel for her not wanting him to know, and not being able to stand herself.
Me too. *more hugs*

Thanks for reading and commenting. ♥

I translate this as... "This fic isn't going to happy places, now is it?"

Yeah, I think I'm getting another OTP. (What? Who says the "o" has to stand for "One"? :) ) This was so gutwrenching and heartbreaking, and yet they're together again, even if it is poisoned....

YES for new OTPs. They deserve some love. They are the couple of the millennium, you know. ;)

Oooh, poisoned... nice word choice there. :)

Gutwrenching and heartbreaking are two of the best things you could have said to me about this section, so I thank you kindly. :)

Ok, I might have shed a tiny tear for Ellen near the end of this chapter.

I adore the waking up scene and the way you describe it. It's obviously awkward for both Ellen and Laura but it's also just really sweet. Their connection is like this one crazy, unexpected lovely thing in the sea of crappiness that is New Caprica. And I like that both of them are a little incredulous that they're finding comfort with each other of all people.

Laura had resigned herself to the fact that solace, whenever she found it, never lasted for long. She took it for what it was worth, without expectations. This line makes me hurt so much for Laura. I hate the fact that having her happiness snatched away is something she's gotten so used to ( ... )

Oh, dear.

*hugs*

I'm an asshole.

Thank you... I love this feedback, I'm happy you found the scene with Laura and Ellen realistic. It's under completely unusual circumstances, something that will probably never happen again between them (well, we know it doesn't, but something they probably know won't as well), but I think it was important for both of them to have that.

Sorry I broke your heart with the Tigh reunion. I so want them to be happy. It's sad, and yes, even more sad with the inevitable conclusion.
