Thanks on the perspective. I'm happy it evolved to be way less Laura/Bill-centric than my usual fare. I really enjoyed writing something fresh.
Thanks for reading and commenting!

I like the way you show Bill's softened on Ellen a bit since "Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down." I like to think he's realized or been reminded of the inevitability of epic Tigh love. Sure they're dysfunctional but in a really lovely way.
Speaking of epic Tigh love, I like the way Ellen is focusing on her own fear at first when the cylons arrive but then she realizes Saul is trembling and tries to comfort him. That is such a sweet moment.
But, it was Laura's perspective on the cylon arrival that really got to me. I felt my stomach drop right along with hers. I think it was the fact that she was so peaceful - thinking about home and admiring the resourcefulness of humans - and then all of the sudden she's ripped out of that.
This must have been what Caprica sounded like…That is when I got the chills and started to feel extremely ill on Laura's behalf ( ... )

Yes! Nice point. This is the essence of the Tighs. ♥

I really can't imagine how horrifying that invasion must have felt. I tried to capture it here, I'm so happy you thought I did a good job.
I love the contrast between Laura's confidence that Bill will come back and Ellen's fear that Saul won't.
I love that you made this point! Sometimes I don't even see these things until people point them out to me. :)
Why do I have a feeling you're going to make me cry?
... *hands you tissue*
Thanks for reading.

The lovers' quarrel was beautifully done. It felt very authentic and in-character. One minute they're tangled together in the warm bedsheets, enjoying an almost heartbreakingly sweet and intimate moment--and the next, they're bristling at each other like a pair of irate hedgehogs. And of COURSE the Cylons came back before the make-up sex, sigh.

I can't wait for you to read the rest. It's not as much A/R as you might have expected! :)

I. love. this. description. lol. Thank you...I'm happy I could write an argument between them and keep it in character, as we didn't see nearly as many personal arguments between them as I think probably occurred, so I tried to make it believable. :)

It's like they had their nookie detectors on! Damn them!
Thanks for the feedback and for reading. :)
