when i was in highschool, drugs were the "cool" thing to do, or rather, it is what me and my peers often involved ourselves in, or what my life was sucked into, starting with excessive pot smoking, moving on to mushroom and acid trips, and eventually cocaine and heroin, etc. Though i hardly regret anything, since i beleive everything was an experience and had a point or purpose, I wish i wouldnt have been through most of that so young - so despite that what I think you are saying is a little sad and disappointing, congratulations on making it that far - to college i mean - without getting sucked into the hate.
