"The Guard" was a worthy and promising start. Although I had to deal with the heavy Irish accent - in some dialogues I could only understand single words - I liked the film. It took itself just enough seriously so that it was no sheer comedy, but a gripping tale with lots of winks.

After that I had to visit my parents for my father's birthday ...
