He promised to be different to Bush.

That's good enough for me !

Do you realize, that by ridding America of Bush,
that he is an honorary Brazilian ?

Yes, he will create tax breaks for the middle class and spread the wealth around. Create green jobs and use renewable energy. There are plenty more. Regarding the environmental policies, lets just hope they don't do a Peter Garrett on us.

Create green jobs >>> presumably with money from taxes, which he doesn't have because

a/ he's given it to the worlds richest middle class already

or, and more likely)

b/the country is now worth 75% of what it was last year and there's nothing to spend now

aww, whoever heard of a self righteous liberal pundit changing idealistic policies in the face of political realities & entrenched interests?

Don't think that i'm a conservative spoilsport, it's just that it's been many years since I can drum up any real enthusiasm for a change of govt plus I saw this sort of new era enthusiasm when Carter was elected and we all know what happened then....

His health policy statement in the Journal of the American Medical Association showed better research and more concrete ideas about implemnetation than McCain's. Also, better policy ideas, imho.
