Computer died! Think it may be the PSU, but as it was a big upgrade from the last one I don't have appropriate spares to eliminate possibilities, so I'm just ordering a new PSU and hoping I'm right. If not, it'll be good to have a spare.

All computer related tasks will be lessened, as this is a spare running from a CD, and it's a bit rubbish.

So, yes, I've been a bit disconnected recently - mostly because I've been having MSc problems. These are about as sorted as I can make them at the moment, while I await word from supervisor. This frees me mentally, which is good ( Read more... )

So, I'm supposed to be report writing, but I spotted an excellent spider photo-op, and took a rather long break, oops! It was in a good spot for me to get my tripod positioned, and doing whatever spiders do that equates to sleep.

3) Admitting (proudly!) my geekiness, for those who somehow missed it earlier.

I was lucky at the end, missed out a stage, so I got a fast time for me. Normally I'm a bit under 1:30.
