has anyone else ever realized that the awful metal band between the buried and me got their name from a counting crows line? it made me laugh.

why is it that everyone i know listens to all the new tom waits stuff. i never hear hardly anyone sing praises for closing time, heart of saturday night, or nighthawks at the diner...these are three fabufreakintastic albums.

i mean, i like all the newer waits, but really, i think the early waits is where its at.
