go to the web site poetry.com and tehn where it says look up type in De La Cruz in the last name and in the firts name type in anthony, jeremiah and the peom is called perception

*Perception*

I'm safe in my mind...
Escaping from all the fights outside...
Suffering from insecurity and lack of hope...
Self confrontation...
Facing your own image in a mirror...
Hating what you see...
Wishing you could start over...
But can't...
Trying to look inside yourself...
Hoping something will be there...
Nothing at the moment...
How could one preson have friends...
But at the same time feel so alone?...
Break the mirror shattering your reflection...
Hoping to never have to see it again...
Atleast with both eyes open...
Take me away from light...
Hide me in the dark...
But please don't lead me so astray...
Within my mind and my heart...
