I hate my job, I hate the bank. I realize now that the stretches of okay-ness and even a good working environment are outweighed by the crappiness. I don't feel good at my job. I wholeheartedly agree with my friend Kirk when I say 2009 feels exactly like 2008 so far. I have a good feeling about tbhe upcoming year though. This year I plan to get a new awesome job, my driver's license, and maybe a pet (this is contingent on the new awesome job and how much I make). Left work early today with a srious case of the icks. Coughing, sniffling, nauseated, and tired as all get out I retreated home with my similarly ill roomie to sweat it out on the couch. There are patches of the floor in my apartment that are warm to the touch. This is really weird when I am walking around my bedroom and suddenly my feet feel surprisingly hot. I am assuming the heating system for the building is right under my bedroom. I hope this doesn't mean my floor is going to burn out from under me.
