I'm considering changing my lj username. My current username is based on a children's book my family used to have, and I'm growing rather perturbed at the fact that I'm identifying myself with that book. When I was little many of the illustrations in the book, frankly, scared the crap out of me, and as an adult I now see that the underlying message

My response to the poll aside, I think that if you feels like changing your username you should have no hesitation in doing so. Although it would be appreciated if you let us know what it is and such. Besides, now I wanna know what this new one you've thought up is.
