I have no idea if anyone still checks livejournal, so this is sort of a test. I feel so guilty about my poor little blog, after leaving it to run off with Facebook like the hussy I am.

Detested them in high school, ridiculed them when I had to be there, skipped them to hang out in the orchestra room in my later high school years.  We got back yesterday afternoon around 4pm, but I was too sore and exhausted (and hot! we went from the 50s in Duluth to the 80s down here) to do much more than get the pictures downloaded off our camera. And now I'm getting ready for work, and this evening I'll be packing for Vegas! Well, we had pretty much the quintessential classic all-American Independence Day, I have to say. Which we NEVER do. Well, not as completely as we did this year, anyway. Halloween, 2004 (our first year ever passing out candy): 3 bags of candy. Ran out. (Perfect!)
Halloween, 2005: 3 bags of candy. 7 trick or treaters.
Halloween 2006: 3 bags of candy. 11 trick or treaters.

(We, uh,  won't include the numbers for how much weight I gained those past two years after finishing off the 3 bags of candy.)
