I got a bunch of Christmas shopping done on Friday night, the first I've done this season, really. I usually enjoy it more than I expect I'm going to, especially when there aren't many crowds, which I got fairly lucky on. And I've been told that they're predicting that, due to the current economy, prices will continue to drop on things all the way ( Read more... )

Thank you for the encouragement! We're hoping to go back and see it one more time either this evening or tomorrow, but the whole thing will be contingent on whether they can be a little flexible with the price; where it stands right now, it would be a bit too much for us, especially since it will cost so much more to heat this house than it does to heat our little crackerbox we live in now.

I'll definitely keep you posted!

If it nearly sold before and then the offer fell through, the sellers might be willing to take a slightly lower offer to make the sale happen. It's worth a shot. I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you!

Thanks! I sure hope it is...we're going to have one more walk-through either tonight or tomorrow, and if it doesn't change our minds (which I doubt it will) we'll put in an offer. But if they're not willing to be flexible on the price, I'm not sure we can swing it, so we'll have to see what happens.

I'll keep you posted, though!

Oh, we took pictures, but I don't really want to post anything until we know for sure what's happening. Just for my own sanity, because if this falls through, I'm going to be pretty bummed out!
