I love the front entrance, the huge yard, the sunny breakfast nook area...well everything you showed photos of. The only thing that gives pause at all is the fact that there is no shower in this bath (but then again, some people don't need one). Is there one in another bathroom?

Yep, there is a shower in the basement bathroom, which isn't super nice right now, but we can finish it pretty easily. We're okay with using it as it is for now, it would just be an issue if we have company staying with us. We're also thinking we might just install one of those detachable shower heads if we can waterproof the window next to the tub (why do so many houses have that?!).

Actually, the window is what made me notice that there was no shower in the first place. I can only surmise that at one time people designing homes thought everyone wanted to be viewed by their neighbors as they bathed.

You might consider one of those old fashioned circular shower cutain rods and have curtains all aound
