We're going to go on sometime between 7:30 and 8pm at The Beat Coffeehouse. I'm afraid I'm not sure where it is...which reminds me, I'd better look that up, hm.

And just to sort of...I dunno, warn you, it's all acoustic singer-songwritery type stuff, and about half her songs have a decidedly Christian bent to them. Though not in an obnoxious way. I guess I'd say they're more spiritual than religious, if that makes sense.

Is that icon one of the animated HP things? I think I've seen a few of them around. (Mostly on the blogs of people who're into fanfic, unfortunately.)

I just finished rereading book 5 last night. The last time I read book 6 was the day it came out, so I definitely have to reread that. So yeah, I've had the final book sitting in my living room unopened for nearly a week! This whole mom things takes more time than I thought. Hee.

Trying very hard to avoid spoilers. I've watched very little TV and read very little internet this week, just to be safe.

Yep, the icon is from potterpuppetpals.com, a hilarious and decidedly un-fanfic-y little site that Bex showed me and which I love. If you check the little movies out, there's definitely an order that works best:
1. Bothering Snape
2. Trouble at Hogwarts
3. Potions Class (not my fave)
4. Wizard Angst
5. The Mysterious Ticking Noise (which can also be found in my livejournal user page)

I'm glad you're reading books 5 & 6 before you tackle 7--even if it takes you years, it'll be worth it, you need that refresher before 7!

That sounds terrific! Unfortunately, I leave for a weekend-long camping trip with my college friends tomorrow afternoon, so this weekend is completely out. How about an evening next week? Monday, maybe? And we should probably be either at your house or mine, as opposed to going out, so we don't subject neighboring tables to spoilers.
