I'm always curious with that icon as to whether the greater impact is felt by a French speaker who might know what "Assez!" means, or by myself, to whom it simply reads "Asses!"
That does NOT sound like fun. Though this might make you feel better. Our initiation to home ownership came with the discovery of a backed up sewer system in our basement. Random turds all over the place.
Wow. Your story and Pat's makes ours look so easy!
We just had that massive storm that struck 3 months after we moved in that tore out a tree and forced us to replace both our roof and siding. (That and a spring on our garage door snapped during the cold of winter that first year. And our oven died the first month. I was starting to wonder if I really wanted to be a homeowner. LOL)
More a lot of hassle than damage to loved possessions. Eek.
Glad you still get to go camping! Stay cool though.
And come see us soon! Before the regular school year starts up again!

Incidentally, "assez" means "enough."

Though the way you put it made me laugh out loud. Is that insensitive? :)
