It depends on the cirrcumstances involved. Some LDR do work out. Mine's heading for two years the 18th this month and we didn't get to see eachother until after our first year of dating. Megan and Zak are both great people who I have an extreame respect and fondness for. Perfect match in my eyes. But distance is hard at times, and sometimes all you can hope for is that when the distance is no longer a factor that things start up again if both people want. As for being in the single world Zak? I'll get you a tazer and a chastity belt to keep you safe, lmao. Love you Waitress, lol.
