dwelling on the past is easy. and we can get lost it it even though we know it's bad for us.

you can tell a friend to look to the future, and forget about when things were better "back when". but you don't believe your own words. they're just empty words, hopefully aiding in the comfort of the friend, but just meaningless words in your own mind.

a quiet world covered in a soft blanket of white lace is a tiny retreat from the fast-packed lives we live, the problems we face and the harsh truths we understand.
