So.. my grandpa died a few hours ago.  My mom had to fly out to South Carolina on mother's day to be with him.. she's coming back Thursday I think, but I am so worried.  It's her father, and I can't imagine she is taking this well at all.  It sucks that I can't be there for/with her because of finals ( Read more... )

I am in the most serene place I've been to in a long time.  It's the arboretum on campus, which features plantlife and such from various areas of the world.  I found a bench that is somewhat hidden by palm trees and faces a small lake/pond.  There are ducks here ( Read more... )
