this is a hard one to put into just a little comment on here, but here goes the best answer or reply i can give you to this one.....
love is never something simple and easy, it just isnt made to be that way. it is one of those things that can be completely amazing one second and the worst thing that has ever happened to you the next...yea isnt that something pretty fucked up. in your situation you claim that the person you loved wasnt who they appeared to be, and you wanted to know if it still counted for something. you still loved someone, you still felt a closeness to them that was not like how you felt towards everyone else...so yea even if the person revealed their true selves that love was still something very real, the feelings that you had were genuine(or appeared that way by the nature of this post).
well first of all, i want to say that i never said this was My situation, although the idea did spring from it, this was more of a question to the public on what they thought. thanks for your reply though.
it depends on how much and what part of them you know.
you can say anything, it doesn't make true.
again, depending on the part and how much of them you knew, then maybe. it is not *person*'s fault if he/she was lied to.
yeah, you can love illusions. you could love the person, i don't know about the ugly truth, but only if you are willing to forgive he/she for lying to you.
I dont think you can truly love someone you dont know. Love is something that takes time. You could love what you know of that person, and love things about them. But i dunno about loving them immediately.
