soon i will be on another adventure. thatch and i are leaving jackson tomorrow afternoon (my mom loves him) and heading back to bowling green. spring break trip for a week, then starting the AT. he's going through GA with me- a spontaneous decision that makes us both very excited. then i'm all alone- a different kind of excitement. hey that's a change in plans - hiking the first month with thatch, that is. sounds fun though. are you going to be on trailjournals? are you going to give me an itenerary (or atleast a list of mail drop stops) so that i can send you letters?

i'm sure your new trail runners will be better than that beat-up old pair of boots you hiked in last summer. i think that otherwise your trailname would be blister or bandaid or something equally depressing..

um...call me before you leave. AND call me when you go into towns!

make lots of friends, take lots of breaks, and eat lots of cheesy potatoes! i loves you.

it IS a change in plans. rather spontaneous. i won't be on trailjournals, but i will be getting maildrops at:

neel's gap
franklin
NOC
fontana dam
standing bear hostel
hot springs
kincora hiker hostel

dates are fuzzy- i'll be in neel's gap in approximately two weeks.
